Today was my last day at work until January!!!
I went to see my midwife today, and we decided that working with 5 year olds all day AND trying to make a baby was too much. So she wrote me a note and now I don't have to go back!
I am SO excited. I know my feet will still swell and my back ache a little, but nothing like it did when I was working all day. Now, I can just focus on my health and mental stability :-)
I left ridiculously detailed sub instructions. I think my class will be fine. I am going to TRY not to worry about it and enjoy my time off. I know after Maverick comes there won't be time to worry.

37 Weeks Today= FULL TERM
Ok Maverick- we are ready for you now!
My back started hurting today. I'm wondering if that is some sort of labor sign? Probably not, but a girl can hope.
My feet are so ridiculously swollen. I can barely move my toes or my ankles, which doesn't help the waddling situation. I am SO slow. I have to leave my classroom extra early to make sure I am on time to get my kids. Its really cutting into my lunch and PE time...
Other than that, I have no real complaints. (Christopher might argue that I have no complaints, lol) I haven't had a lot of the problems that a lot of pregnant ladies have, so I should consider myself lucky. Ok, I take that back. I do have another complaint- not sleeping. There is no way to get comfortable, and I'm up about every 2 hours to pee. Then I have trouble getting back to sleep. I have hundreds of channels on my TV, why is there never anything on? Thank GOD for DVR!
I am just so ready to meet Maverick. I want to know what he looks like, make sure he is healthy and get on with being a mommy :-)

New Here
Hi Guys!
I'm just setting this up so I can share news about our lives...
I'm 36 weeks, 4 days pregnant and working is really starting to get me! Being a kindergarten teacher isn't easy on the best of days, but 9 months pregnant- its almost impossible!
I go to see my midwife tomorrow, and I hope she tells me its going to be sooner than 3 weeks. I would really like Maverick to be born in October. My birthday is in October, Nana's birthday is in October and Pal's birthday was in October... But I'm thinking it is going to be November.
I'm starting to get really nervous about when it is all going to happen. What if I'm at school?! That would NOT be good at all.
More posts to come, when I have more to say. :-)
Thanks for reading
